I interviewed at The Salvation Army (Alexandria, VA)
Interview
A friendly conversation asking about my previous experiences, with a big focus on research and international collaboration. Disclosed during interview that research project I was meant to analyze results from hadn't started yet. Also did not disclose exactly what documents would need to be signed to begin work (said position was non-religious and focused on international development, but required church form)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about specific research methodologies you have experience with.
One interview with HR, not the department you would work in. It was very easy and basically determined if you understood the position you were applying to. Not very high pressure.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Salvation Army (Washington, DC) in Dec 2019
Interview
Phone Interview followed by an in person interview. First round was a call by Human Resources, and then next one was with the direct reporting manager. It was fairly simple.
