I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Tesco (Stoke-on-Trent, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
I saw the ad on Indeed and applied on the Tesco Careers Website. A week later, I got a phone call asking to come in on Saturday. I researched questions on Glassdoor to prepare me as I didn’t know whether it was a 1 on 1 or group interview. It was a group interview and it was really relaxed and informal. I suggest wearing smart casual attire. The manager asked questions and gave us the option to answer. Try to answer every single one but give others a chance and make eye contact with the rest of the applicants as well as the interviewers. We were supposed to do a paper tower challenge, but we opted not to. But if you do happen to do one, don’t focus so much on winning. Focus on getting along with your team. The manager said she’d call within 7 days. She called me 2 hours later to discuss the induction days and hours. Depends on your manager!
