I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Telstra (Melbourne) in Mar 2009
Interview
Phone interview first - basic questions based on past experience and I got the feeling that the interviewer was judging my phone manner as well.
Actual interview - behaviour questions were the main focus of the interview. Questions that called on you to draw from specific examples from your own past experience designed to probe into your work ethic, mental agility, problem solving skills, and your behaviour under pressure.

Question 1
Give me a specific example where you demonstrated up-selling or cross-selling on a call......
In person. very casual at a cafe. Asked the usual questions in an interview. As usual unfortunately I was young and they wanted a very committed staff member but I was at uni so I couldn't commit
Pretty good. Interviewers asked a mix of behavioural and technical questions to see if I was a good fit for the role. Also asked questions about my resume throughout the interview.
Not inclusive for everyone. Pre-recorded interviews can cause anxiety to people who have it and can deter them from completing the application process. I could not get through the hirevue stage so was not even considered for position even though I am very qualified. What ever happened to face value.
