TL;DR- passed 4/5 steps and after the 4th they said the role is cancelled. Very long process, although everyone were nice throughout it. Had a call from HR after I submitted my CV, then technical phone screen with the team lead. After that technical interview on Zoom with team lead and team member. Afterwards hr interview, and finally an onsite interview which was supposed to take 4 hours but took ~5.5 hours. In the onsite interview I was given a task and had a few hours to implement it, and afterwards an interview with the manager and some senior team member. After this, there was supposed to be a final (non-technical) interview with the group lead. The HR called me and said they were really impressed by me and want to proceed but waiting on some reorg announcements. After a few more days she called and said that due to the recent reorg the job got cancelled…..
