Recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn to apply for a position which I did in a timely manner. I spoke with/interviewed 4 times. After the last one I was told they’d get back to me that following Monday only for them to essentially ghost me for about 3 weeks instead and stop replying to my emails despite the fact that they were follow up on things (benefits information) she said she’d send me. When she finally got back to me to tell me that they went with someone else (which was quite shocking considering that I had been given the impression I was the more experienced candidate). Honestly though, that was all aside from the fact that it was wholly unprofessional to ghost a candidate that you reached out to in the first place.
