Mainly two rounds, both focuses on behavioral questions and resume.
They care about your fit to the position, your leadership and decision-making experiences. The way they asked were somehow critical and sharp.

I applied online. I interviewed at TSMC (Phoenix, AZ) in Aug 2025
Interview
They mainly asked behaviour questions and very little technical questions. The process was smooth and straightforward. It happened for 1 hour. Communication was a bit difficult for me with the interviewers. Overall a fine experience
Smooth and informative. Hard to pass up on this opportunity in semiconductor manufacturing. The interviewers were kind and respectful. They also invest in your success. Prepare what is expected of this role but everything else will be learned on the job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TSMC (Phoenix, AZ) in Mar 2025
Interview
Mainly 2 rounds, both are non-technical. In my second round with the department managers, they kept questioning about my background because I don't have Bachelors degree in Engineering. One even asked: why didn't switch major? Your master degree in Engineering is too short, etc.,
Really unprofessional and rude. The working environment seems toxic.
