I had an initial interview as my first point of contact with the company. I explained to the interviewer that a few questions drafted in an email that I would send through and he agreed to answer them during our initial call.
After the call the interviewer then responded with an aggressive tone and refused to answer questions my about how often the company asks their employees to work over time, and what the company does to maintain a healthy work life balance.
On the job platform this company only had data filled in about the job role and provided very little information about the company itself.
It was quite clear to me that they wanted to fill a job role to meet business demands, and are not interested in building an environment that employees will feel happy to work in.
