      Analyst Interview

      Jun 2, 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker

      Interview

Phone screener, followed by Gallup interview. This is an outdated and inefficient process. The Gallup interview tells you absolutely nothing about my professional career and likability. Recommend using skills test and references. You put off talented candidates with this type of interview process. Crossed Stryker off my list.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Would you like to take a Gallup interview?

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker (Amsterdam)

      Interview

My first meeting was directly with the team and the hiring manager, as HR was on leave. The initial communication was positive, but during the interview I felt that my experience might be beyond the scope of the role. After one week, I received a rejection without any feedback, and my follow-up request for clarification went unanswered. I was also told in advance that my travel expenses would be reimbursed and submitted the required form afterward, but never received confirmation or reimbursement. While the amount itself was not important to me, it was disappointing to see a promise not followed through and communication stop entirely. Rejection is part of the process, but the lack of transparency and follow-through felt unprofessional.

      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stryker in Sep 2024

      Interview

The process was fairly smooth. It consisted of one HR screening, one Gallup assessment, one interview with the hiring manager, and then one day of interviews with the team, which was with four people, and then for extra caution an additional interview with the senior Director of the division. To succeeded in this interview interview process, really make sure that you have a firm understanding of the contributions that you made in your prior roles and how they are applicable to the role that you interviewed for at Stryker. From my understanding, the culture at Stryker is phenomenal. Really understand why you want to work at Stryker and how if it's into your career goals.
