I applied for the role in November and did not hear back for quite some time. I followed up via Jobvite in January and was surprised to receive a response. I spoke with the hiring manager and then another person on her broader team. Then was brought on-site to interview with 5 people in one day. I felt the interviews went well, but I did not hear back from Splunk whatsoever. I think out of respect for the candidate, it is nice to give them some closure, even if they did not get an offer. Not sending any sort of update, after a candidate takes time out of their day to come on-site, is disrespectful in my opinion.
