Initial screening call with HR colleague to understand current role, salary expectations etc followed by formal interview with two colleagues.
Told about strong positive colleague culture, but never contacted to advise of outcome of second round interview or provide any feedback - poor and does not fit with what was explained about the firm during the process.
If they could not be bothered to contact me I was not going to follow up with them.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience with creating frameworks
Don't even bother interviewing here, this was the most unprofessional and demoralizing experience of my career. Went through the entire process and after the final round, didn't hear anything for about two weeks. I sent a message to the recruiter, who told me a decision was coming within the next few days. Two weeks after that I still hadn't heard anything, and I didn't even bother following up again because I would never work for a company that treats people that discourteously. This appears to be SOP at SVB and I wish I'd read the other reviews before I wasted 10+ hours in this process.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Silicon Valley Bank (Rem) in May 2022
Interview
The interview process was typical to other companies where it involved speaking with a recruiter followed by the hiring manager and then several other interviews with potential peers and others in the group. Most of the interviews were highly focused on SVB’s culture and were mainly conversational in nature. Overall, it was an easy experience. However, why I am rating this as a negative experience is the extremely long time this process took start to finish and, like many others have said, the lack of communication on SVB’s part regarding a decision. My expectation (and I don’t think it’s too much to ask for) is that if you interview with five different people over the course of several weeks, a company should at least have the decency to communicate a decision to you, regardless of whether it is to move in another direction. Again, like others have said, I even reached out (twice) to inquire about the decision stating that I was fully aware they had selected another candidate and just wanted some information on the decision/feedback so that I could improve/learn from the interviews. Anyways, I get it that people are busy but SVB really needs to enhance their communications with candidates who spend hours going through the interview process.
