I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sienna Charles (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
Initial screen with factional recruiter, take home assignment, panel interview with CEO, husband, and COO.
I think there was some miscommunication around role and expectations.
In my mind, the position being hired for is an enabler and supporter of a CEO that deals with all inquiries and deliverables for the CEO as a first responder and layer. Sienna Charles cut the panel interview short because they were inferring that this role will formally manage employees, which was interesting. I would think that an actual CEO or COO would manage executives. The ending was very abrupt, the CEO did not speak.

Interview
I went through a 1.5-hour TestGorilla assessment and a 1-hour interview for a senior-level role, dedicating time and effort in good faith. Despite meeting all expectations and following up professionally, I was completely ghosted with no feedback or closure. It’s disappointing and unprofessional—especially from a company that claims to value luxury, precision, and high standards. A simple “no” would have sufficed. Candidates deserve basic respect, especially after investing hours into your process.
• Extremely time-consuming process (1.5-hour TestGorilla + 1-hour interview) with no follow-up or closure
• No respect for candidates’ time or effort—completely ghosted after final stage
• Feedback is non-existent despite multiple touchpoints
• Feels transactional and inconsistent with the premium image they try to project
• Poor candidate experience suggests internal disorganization or lack of transparency
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I been asked about my experience at luxury segment - I shared a nuanced answer that luxury today is about personalization, emotional resonance, and creating unforgettable moments—not just exclusivity. I gave examples from my past experience managing communications for luxury hospitality brands, where we crafted narratives that centered around intimacy, identity, and meaningful connection.

Interview
It was the most terrible interview I ever had. The CEO showed up herself, which was nice, but then she began cutting me in the middle of my sentences. Then, simply, in the middle of one of our questions, she just hung up on me in the middle of our Zoom call and never replied back.
