Average, but not lengthy. When they make an offer, they expect a speedy answer which can be a challenge if you are also entertaining other offers. I was entertaining another offer, and needed an additional 2 weeks, but felt pressured to accept the one at SLAC. Very unfortunate. I should have used some more leverage to negotiate additional salary.
