Interview
The interview process with rentokil initial was a really positive experience.
It began with my phone interview with Matthew Smyth which ensured I knew the job role and advised the whole interview process in detail which instantly eased any interview nerves, whilst also asking a few interview questions to learn more about myself and my previous experience and knowledge.
My first google meet interview was with HR Advisor Emily and Donna Rodney the HR Manager, who both instantly put me at ease, explained the job role in detail and asked me the interview questions, to ensure I was the right candidate for the role and to ensure the role was for me also.
I then had a second interview with Donna Rodney and HR Manager Andy Stephens where further interview questions were asked and again I was made to feel really comfortable.
Matthew, Emily, Donna and Andy were all extremely professional and really friendly throughout the whole process, with Matthew calling me throughout to provide any updates regarding the position.
The interview process was the most positive and friendly I have been involved in and only increased my interest to work for rentokil initial.

Initial phone interview and in-person interview. Recruitment team in Scotland were very friendly, as were the two HR team members who interviewed me. Overall a positive experience, even though I didn't get an offer.

Telephone assessment
First stage interview - Talking through my CV, my motivations for applying for the role and my knowledge of the role. This also involved a small number of competency based questions.
Personality Assessment
Second stage interview - Personality interview and criteria based questioning.
The recruitment team kept in regular contact with me throughout the process and provided me with an abundance of materials, including Glassdoor and I would encourage all applicants to utilise the resources available. It made my life so much easier with respect on how to prepare for each interview stage and learn more about the organisation.
