Renaissance Hotels Interview Questions

Very professional interview by the F&B Director and Assistant F&B Director. Overall the direction of the program did not align with my goals and I did not give it my all during the interview.

There were a total of 2 interviews. One was with their HR Director and the second interview was with the GM. The HR Director went over your resume and asked a few questions regarding your specified knowledge in HR. The GM interview was a lot more relaxed and seemed more like a get to know you interview where he also went over what was expected of the new hire.

Manager was somewhat aggressive when they didn't like my answer, really pushing me to go somewhere else. Was stuck on that one question for a while and it made me uncomfortable. I really wanted to move on to the next question. Besides that, it seems they really care about their job which is great for them. The hotel is a really busy place and a front desk agent needs to have the necessary skills to handle random and often crazy situations. I got caught up on one question, and the manager took that as I couldn't handle it. I had previous front desk experience, but that's how these things go.

The interview process has been very smooth and communication has been extremely prompt. The interview itself was a great experience and I look forward to hearing about the next steps!

Interview was extremely efficient and it was a great opportunity to meet many people from the management team as there were around 3 rounds that took all together around 1 hour

The interview was conducted very smoothly. I was somewhat nervous as this was my first round of NYC interviews, however all the relevant and pertinent questions were asked. very welcoming Manager/interviewer

the interview was too short. they didn't care. the interview was distracted, could not answer questions about the specific job or the possibility of advancement.i don't think this a company to look for career growth.

I applied in person, filled out the paper application. A week or so later I was called for an interview. Showed up to the interviewed and thought it went very well. However, I was never called again. When I called after a few weeks, I was told the job was no longer available yet they were constantly hiring other people I knew during this time and well after the fact.

I had a brief phone interview not shortly after I applied. I was scheduled for a traditional interview on the following week. I came in met with the director of Food and beverage one of her assistant managers and the food and beverage GM. Was told I was definitely getting the position. Was taken to HR for drug testing at location and am awaiting results (no worries there). Was told it takes 3-7 days and I’ll get a call with my confirmation and to schedule my paperwork signing and orientation will follow that next day.
