A few years ago now. Was referred by an existing employee who was a contact. Bypassed the assessment centre, straight to a technical interview with a director and engineer, and another with HR to finalise the job.

Some industry experience/ a placement will go far in these interviews.
A phone interview around 20 minutes with the principal engineer asks some questions. The final question was to ask whether I have questions or not. The previous question will be asked according to the CV and your motivation for applying the job.
Decent not bad group exercise then some exams if you prepare well you’ll have a decent chance of getting an offer. Make sure you know everything about the company and come on time

Interview
Assessment centre included a team working exercise and a presentation on the topic followed by a 50 minute individual interview. Was a fun day overall with networking opportunities and company talks.
