Interviews are said to be an opportunity for both parties to get to know each other, I learned much about them but since they talked so much I'm not sure they learned much (if anything) about me. Or maybe they tested my listening skills... I found out that I'd earlier worked at the same company as the hiring manager, she was hired about one year after I left that company and even though it was in the same office we had no former colleagues in common - high staff turnover appears to be normal and expected for this particular manager. A warning sign for people looking for stability, for people looking for career progression then it might be possible to see it as an opportunity. I got the impression that the high staff turnover that this particular manager seems to enjoy would be even higher than normal as the company was/is in a transitional phase.
