I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Houston, TX) in Jan 2023
Interview
So of course I filled out the online application. 3 days later I received a email to complete an assessment, which was easy to me. A few days afterwards I received a email to complete a virtual interview. I spent 3 days prepping because I found the interview questions on reddit. Therefore I very prepared and had my answers written in the STAR format. I was dressed professionally, clean and professional background, I took my time answering the questions and yes I smiled.
I got a denial email. I emailed them back and asked for advice on where to improve. They emailed and generated email stating to focus on STAR answer and to smile... I know for a fact I gave detailed STAR answers and smiled. Overall do not waste your time because I don't think they are actually hiring people because no one is getting the job. I am overqualified and have auto claims experience btw.
Also, you cant apply for another progressive job for 6 months lol comical.

It was a fairly lengthly process which involved the application, an assessment, pre-recorded one way interview, and a live virtual interview. Asked behavior-based STAR questions. It was extensive with at least 10 questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Allentown, PA) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process is extensive, there are several levels after applying for the position. Initially there are several questions to answer followed by a video interview with Behavioral questions to be answered in their STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) followed by the following interview with an actual manager. This interview was also answering additional behavioral questions in the STAR format and answering several other questions. After all was said and done. I received an e-mail informing me they went a different direction.
