Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Example of a time I provided excellent customer experience
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Pier 1 Imports (Holladay, UT) in Sep 2012
Interview
Interview went quite well for a 20 hr a week job. They didn't inform me about working 5 days a week with hours between 6:00 AM until 4:00AM unloading trucks. They also forgot to inform me that i was supposed to scrub toilets, mop and buff floors, wash 100 feet of windows, clean the break room along with the regular dusting and vacuuming.
The whole process was easy going and fast. The staff was professional and polite. It is very sad this company no longer exists in brick and mortar stores but only online.
I applied online. I interviewed at Pier 1 Imports (Newark, NJ) in Mar 2019
Interview
The interview was easy and straightforward. They don't take up too much time with unnecessarily long interviews. I had one interview with the store manager. She asked the basic questions you'd expect for retail. They are focused on customer service.
