I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (New York, NY) in Nov 2011
Interview
Hiring and interview process is fair. A higher level of education places a candidate at a greater chance of being considered. Prior money handling and banking experience is preferred. Was placed in a group interview first . Next, was told I would have to complete a personality assessment. Finally was given an offer and had to complete a drug test.

Met with a panel. It lasted about 20 min. Easy interview. Many situational questions. Also, many questions based on experience. They all took turns asking about 5 questions each. As long as you give a thorough answer the first time, they won't really ask you to elaborate on your answer.
