Interview
I gave my resume to my friends who works for Oracle. Then, after a while I got call from HR about the interview schedule. The first round was telephonic round. Two of them was there in the other end. It was decent and went for around 1hour. Then the next round was scheduled at their office. It went for around 2hours with two people. One guy was asking about my projects while another one prepares the question.
Then the next round was with the hiring manager. It was just a discussion about job profile and about my previous projects.

Question 1
The most questions was from perl, java, shell scripting and web application.
Ex: 1. Unix command to extract a jar file.
2. how database search works
3. about previous projects (explained on board with block diagram)
You have a log file which has lines around 30k. There is another file which has some error pattern(like invalid_request, no_file etc). Now, write a program (in perl/shell)which will output the log and its previous/next 5 lines.
Ex: If the pattern(like no_file) occurs at line 200, then lines from 195 to 205 (11 lines) should be added to the output file.

Interview
One day five hours process with four rounds. Initial two rounds we're core technical with focus on knowing approach instead of exact process. Questions were asked on additional skills also which were good to have for role but not must.
