Applied online, received email from Chief of Staff scheduling a 15-min interview. On the day of, I had to reschedule last minute due to a meeting running over but I extended her the professional courtesy of reaching out directly with an apology. I tried getting in her schedule sooner but apparently she didn’t have 15 minutes to spare anywhere in her super busy schedule until the following week. Chief of Staff then canceled the interview an hour prior to the call (via the automated system) offering no apology. Apparently within those five business days, she was now in final rounds and needed to cancel. If that were the case, the employee should have : 1) never engaged me as a candidate and 2) canceled sooner rather than later and wasting my time on Election Day,
