Compliance Auditor Interview West Malling, England (UK)

One thing I was asked was, how did I deal with a difficult

customer, and how did I react?

Interview Answer

1 Answer

I remained quiet and allowed the customer to have their say, as they obviously had something that they needed to 'get off their chest', let them have their 5 minutes to rant, then calmly pointed out to the individual concerned that whilst they could do whatever they liked with their own personal data, that when it came to the personal data of their staff that they had a legal obligation to protect that personal data and not publish it the way he had his own, and therefore he had to put in place stringent measures to ensure that all personal and sensitive personal data held under his authority was appropriately protected by organisational measures at all times. It was at this point that he went rather pale and quiet and appeared to take on board where he was going wrong.
