I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Saint Louis, MO) in Jul 2010
Interview
Apply online on the O' Reilly Auto Parts website. There is a test you take to determine your values and your fit as an employee. Depending on your answers you will get a rating whether you are eligible for hire. If there is a position open at a store you will get a call from the store for an interview. At the interview you will get another small test for numerical parts order. If chosen for the job you must pass a background check and a drug test if the position is for driving. Before you start the position you go through training videos and tests. The interview has normal questions with managers just trying to see if you will make a good fit as an employee.

I applied online. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Wyoming, MI) in Dec 2018
Interview
It was one interview and the job was offered on the spot pending a urinalysis. The interview was a face to face sit-down of the typical questions asked at an hourly role. Questions reviewed your work history, skills, why you would be a good addition to the company, as well as how you see yourself performing in the position. This is not an interview which requires much preparation in order to be successful with.
