Easy interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ntrepid in Oct 2019
Interview
I was found on an online platform. The initial screening was easy enough and so was the on site. What went down hill for me was being asked to do a coding assignment after the on site interview. I should have refused to do the assignment but I finished it as soon as I could. More than a week later I got a call telling me I was not chosen because of ambiguous reasons (not skills or personality). Frankly absolutely DO NOT INTERVIEW or apply for a job with this company, it looks like they want free code.

Question 1
Basic Algorithm about finding duplicates and missing values in two lists.
Initial phone screen was ~15 mins just talking about the position and interview process. Then a 45 minute technical interview with a few devs where they asked me questions about the languages/frameworks I had on my resume. After this the final interview was two 45 minute sessions back to back each with 2 (different) devs. The final interview was similar to the first technical interview but with more scenario based questions (e.g tell me about a time where...).

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you disagreed with a coworker. What is a Bean in Spring? How would you implement a dashboard in HTML? Include x, y, z features.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ntrepid (San Diego, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
I wasn't looking for a new job but I decided to talk to the recruiter who contacted me just to see. It was a good call, she explained the job and the company in detail and it all sounded interesting. I was excited about the tech stack even though it required some experience I'm a little light on. She told me she'd schedule a call with the manager and that happened pretty quick, he was sharp and we had a great conversation. Recruiter followed up as promised and was honest about the areas of my experience that were light, so we agreed to check back in 6 months. Overall I was impressed with the company and the
transparent interview process and I would be open to Ntrepid in the future.
