We value the candidate experience and make it a priority to keep candidates informed throughout every stage of the recruitment process from start to finish. As is often the case in business, circumstances can change quickly. In this instance, when another role opened up, we proactively reached out to this candidate, offering them a second opportunity to interview.
NetWatch really appreciate the effort each and every candidate puts into their application, including preparing presentations. Although this is an entry level position, we assess candidates through a mix of competency, motivation, and strengths-based interview questions, alongside assessing their overall cultural fit within the company. We are confident in our interview questions and overall approach and have successfully built a strong team with great employees.
We believe that over-preparing for an interview can be beneficial. Being well-prepared helps candidates present themselves in the best possible way, and this should not be seen as a negative. We would also encourage this candidate to check their junk email folder, as we always reach out to unsuccessful candidates and offer the opportunity for feedback.
