Pretty straightforward. First an online assessment consisting of a comprehension and simple math, phone call (this could vary as I applied during covid-19) and then an in-store assessment. I was given ten pounds for attending the in-store assessment which I thought was a very kind gesture.

Easy, casual chat, was asked basic questions, got shown around the shop, and was given an induction on how to complete various tasks as well as how to clock-in and clock-out etc.

What is your availability in terms of days and working hours?
Short telephone interview - informal chat to discuss availability and previous experience, which lasted about 15 minutes. Then brought in and shown round the store and the stock rooms, and fill out any paperwork.

Got a phone call to discuss application and to confirm that I was able to do the dates that were stated on the application form then I was invited to come in store to have an interview/in store assessment on a particular date.
