I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NBA (Jersey City, NJ) in Sep 2012
Interview
Contacted by staffing company, had a phone interview with dept head a week later, had an on site interview weeks later, had a 3rd interviewed scheduled for the same day Sandy hit which was cancelled and eventually rescheduled 2 weeks later. Met with 3 CDs and was offered and accepted the position 2 weeks later. A little drawn out.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you like basketball which I never had the chance to answer since the CD's couldn't agree if the question was relevant or not?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NBA in Dec 2024
Interview
5 different interviews with different employees throughout the departments. Some of it was repetitive. Each interview was spaced out over a 10 day period. All of the interviews were done over zoom.
The NBA interview process is rigorous yet rewarding, featuring insightful questions, engaging panel discussions, and opportunities to showcase skills in a highly dynamic, professional, and supportive sports industry environment. It was so cool.
Overall, it was good, I was happy with my answers except one. No technical questions. Snowflake was deal breaker. Although I have SQL knowledge, it was not enough to get the job.
