I applied in-person. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers (Cincinnati, OH) in Mar 2016
Interview
The interview was with the zone manager as well as a neighboring district manager. The interview went well and I proved I was ready for the promotion. As they continued their search, I was given the position on a interm basis. I took care of everything and was able to accomplish all tasks that were given to me within the specified time frame. The position was then given to a outside person even though Monro states they always promote from within.

Interview
Extremely unprofessional. After two interviews, I was given a verbal offer. I asked for a written offer and I was given an offer for some else with the name crossed off in pen for a store manager's position. Stay away!
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers (Boston, MA) in Jul 2011
Interview
Called in for a Job Fair. Interview consisted of filling out new hire paperwork, formal application etc. then I was taken into the garage and sat at a folding table the regional manager sat in for all of 1 minute, (he is who I received the invite from after submitting my resume). I was asked "why are you better than the next guy" ,"what do you know about the company", and what are the top categories of a P&L. There were 4 tables set up and the room was full of other applicants being interviewed for various positions at the same time...very annoying...I was interviewed by a District manager for the District manager position...very unprofessional.... the environment was 90 degrees, noisy, and Filthy and I was the only one wearing a Shirt and tie (Left the suit coat in the car)...not how and were you would expect to be interviewed for an 80k+ per year professional position....the interviewer seemed annoyed to be interviewing someone for his same position....a very negative experience indeed!
