I submitted my resume online, and place a few follow up calls.
The 1st phone interviews where good. I presented my skill set, which is advanced. But, in benefits world, you have the best chance if you come from a carrier or GA, and neither are my case.
- Their Southern CA team has gone through some challenges and successes, but its a team that you should think 2x before joining. Its a small world, just ask a carrier rep.

Question 1
The hiring manager and supervisor, asked a series of questions relative to the industry. I shared my experience. It was tough, because I could tell she lacked a lot of knowledge. she is purely a sales person with no real skill in group benefits for employers of any size. She was just a type A on steroids.

Very informative, it really helps you understand the structure of the company and how to be successful. Mercers interview process was extremely helpful when sitting down with the 5 panelist and current employee in that specific role, it helped to answer any questions and curved any doubt I originally had about the duties of the role and how to be sucessful.
