I applied online. I interviewed at Marquette Partners
Interview
No phone interview straight to onsite then was told I'd hear back in a week. No communication thereafter. Honestly it was a major red flag that they didn't bother to give me a phone interview first and that I interviewed with people who were trying to be as mean/negative as possible
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very specific and obscure questions about coding that I wasn't expected to have the ability to answer, wasting time. What have you done that shows you want to be in this business. Are you okay working overnight
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Marquette Partners (Minsk) in Sep 2018
Interview
I was invited to the interview at Minsk office by a recruiter. I was informed about the stages of their selection process beforehand
1. telephone call with a recruiter
2. 'general' interview with the team and a manager
3. 'skills' interview
4. skype interview with a manager from Chicago
I did not get a job offer, but the recruiter contacted me via e-mail with detailed feedback. Interviewers were well-prepared and nice. They offered me a coffee break and showed around the office. The process was long, but it is okay considering the fact that Project Manager is a key position. I would not mind visiting the company as an applicant one more time.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Marquette Partners (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2016
Interview
I got the first round trader test which was 30mins in length. I interviewed at their office. Most of the questions are probability questions and brainteasers. A pencil and scratch paper are allowed. They are looking at how you react when facing pressure, so just tell them about your thoughts when you cannot work out the problem. The interviewer was quite nice.
