It was a 5 step process. I had one phone interview with someone from HR, then three interviews over zoom. One with my would-be boss, one with my would-be mentor, and one with as much of the team that was free. Then I had to come in-person for the final interview. The questions were not difficult but they did not understand my expertise. The position was designed to expand the team's skill set but the didn't bring in anyone who had an understanding of what that skillset was supposed to be.
