      Application

I interviewed at LiveRamp (Chicago, IL)

      Interview

Call w/recruiter, 1|1 Manager and was moved onto panel / presentation The recruiter was not prepared and 100% the reason why I took myself out of the interviewing process. Companies really need to evaluate who they have on the front lines and what a negative experience it can place for the company. The recruiter first never called when he was supposed to. I reached out to the coordinator and she was shocked. When I had to reschedule due to the recruiter not being able to dial my phone number correctly? Wow … think of peoples time here. I spoke with the recruiter and all he could assure me was how terrible people do on the presentation portion and something about “cookies”. I moved onto a hiring manager and I did enjoy that conversation. She was easy to talk with and I did like the openness of the conversation. You are then moved onto the panel and presentation. I received an extremely vague paragraph of what’s next in the THREE hour process. If you are going to do this, please outline to a candidate the process. I truly didn’t know if I had to give the presentation on LiveRamp or on what I’m currently doing. It states reach out to your recruiter if you have questions. I reached out two times with zero resource to my emails. The coordinator reached out and asked if I was still interested because I never booked anything on the scheduler. I told her I never heard from the recruiter and I need to be prepared. The recruiter reached out and couldn’t answer the most simple questions about the 3 hour panel and presentation. He said he would get back to me. 3 days later he replied via email with still little to no insight. I canceled by appointment on the schedule and sent an email to the scheduler, I will not be moving forward. It’s really unfortunate because I was very interested in LiveRamp but the process threw so many red flags I could not ignore. Please try to set people up for success and do not waste people’s time, as I was four hours in with meeting people and rescheduling. It was truly a disappointment and a bad reflection on the company and it’s brand. If you want good employees, I’d suggest looking into changing your process and hire competent recruiters (dialing phones, providing correct direction, responding to simple but essential questions).

Thank you for your feedback. In no way should your messages have gone unanswered and am sorry to hear that you withdrew yourself from the opportunity due to our lack of follow-up. That being said - our process should not look as you outlined it and will work to ensure that this is improved across the board. I hope this experience did not cloud your sights on LiveRamp in the longer term. We really are a great company to work for and have exciting times ahead of us. I hope you will reconsider your candidacy with us. If not - I wish you the best of luck in your career search. Best - Erika
