I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Dublin, Dublin) in Sep 2020
Interview
Meeting in person with area manager. Friendly casual approach. Asked availability and experience. Asked about myself and hobbies. Told me about company and role and asked if I though I would be a good fit.

Question 1
Tell about yourself, availability, experience, hobbies etc
Very straightforward process.
One person interviewed me and asked a few questions.
Did not last more than an hour, if that.
I had one interview and then an offer was made.
Phone interview and then in person interview. Pretty quick and easy and doesn’t take long to hear back. Questions are pretty standard like ‘why Lidl?’ and ‘what’s your favourite item we sell’. Also a few scenario based questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lidl (Cardiff, Wales) in Jan 2026
Interview
Really nice manager and chill atmosphere. Didn't ask me any scenario based questions or any that I had to provide a "star" like paragraph; more focused on how prepared/ committed/ able you are to do a lot of work.
