I applied online. I interviewed at Law School Toolbox (San Francisco, CA) in May 2023
Interview
As part of "the process," I was asked to provide feedback on a "sample essay." I was told to return it within a week, but before the week was up, my interviewer emailed, asking "where are you" on the project. I returned the feedback within 24 hours and was promptly informed that they would not be moving forward with "the process." Now, I am overqualified to tutor for them, having nearly 20 years experience as a law professor. I provided excellent feedback on their "sample." It appears that they have a hustle going whereby interviewees do the company's work for free. I would stay away from these people.

Question 1
The interviewer didn't really ask much. We had what seemed to be a pleasant conversation.

Interview
They have a traditional interview and then have you do some of their work for them for free as a sample of your abilities. I wouldn't recommend. Their hourly pay is much lower than their competitors.
