I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kuli Kuli (Oakland, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
The overall interview process was alright despite a few hiccups along the way. I had three back to back interviews and although most of the questions were related to the industry and the position I applied for, 2 out of 3 interviewers asked me whether I already had kids, if I wanted to have kids and how soon. The questions about kids followed right after they emphasized that the job would be very challenging and it’d require working outside of work hours. I felt slightly uncomfortable after that.
Overall, I liked the company’s mission and this is why I wanted to join it, but I didn’t feel like they had a clear understanding who they needed for the position.

Interview
Was contacted for a 30 minute phone interview after applying online. Interviewer did not give any introduction or an overview of the position or company and went straight into questions. The interview felt more like an interrogation than a phone interview. After a few questions I became uninterested with the position and could clearly hear the interviewer sighing, so I politely exited the interview.
