I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroll (Austin, TX) in Sep 2017
Interview
I was asked to walk through my resume. Then I was given some technical questions on valuation. I was also asked the current gas and oil price (cause I was applying for the Houston office). As there were some time left, I was asked a brain teaser.
First round interview was virtual. Was shown interview questions prior to recording my answers, and had unlimited time to prepare before answering. There were quite a few question, though I was able to take as much time as needed to prepare.
Overall average interview including dcf and other valuation approaches focus including precedents and market multiples , overall capital markets knowledge might also be useful including knowledge about what kroll does
Multiple rounds, first phone interview. Then flown into office where we did interviews with some of the team members, then a case study with other interviewees and presented to the team and had lunch after. Later received a phone call.
