I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Insight Global (Baltimore, MD) in Oct 2015
Interview
I interviewed with Insight Global in October, and was put in a small, rather hot corner office which overlooked the Inner Harbor. The view was nice, but the temperature in the room was not. I wound up talking to 4 people over the course of the interview, which took over 2 hours (mainly because of the amount of time it took the new interviewers to come into the room...I was sitting in the room by myself for a large portion of the time I was there). The interviewers did a lot of talking rather than allowing me to talk, even though I was repeatedly told to "wow" them. Each person I talked to and everyone I saw walking around the office, was young and at least somewhat attractive. Upon leaving, Summer (the office manager) gave me $10 worth of parking validation--only to find out that 2 hours of parking in their garage was $25!! They asked me to come to this interview, kept me there for 2 hours, and charged me $15 to do it. The kicker? They told me they would call me by the end of the week with their decision, regardless of what the decision was, and they didn't.
I was messaged by a recruiter on linkedin and had a phone call with her, and then was set up with a first round interview with one of the sales managers for the office I applied for. In this interview I found the questions asked to be very strangely worded for it to be a sales job.
The interview process was long, it consisted of a lot of phone calls with the recruiter prepping you for the interviews. The in person interview felt very calculated and fake. Although I’m sure the managers meant well you could tell they were very judgmental. I’ve also heard awful things about this company so I think it was a blessing. Good luck though!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Austin, TX) in May 2025
Interview
Began with a 15 minute warmer call with a recruiter to then schedule a 45 minute call with the recruiter, then either an in-person or online interview with hiring manager, and then last interview with manager.
