I was interviewed at infinite 2 weeks ago. First Round was a walk-in where 100 + people were available, I reached 11.30 and my turn came at 4.30. there was nothing except water for that long time. As per JD it was for Manual + SQL.
I was shortlisted and again they called me for 2nd round and it took 5 hrs to have 4 rounds with 2 different panels and there respective managers.
Again I cleared 2nd round then in manager round they asked me all about automation and API if I have experience on that or not. As they want someone to work on automation as well.
My question is, when the drive was for manual, why you asking about automation and all ??
Later 1 panel rejected me for some reason which I don't know till date as my all rounds went well.
Another panel selected me,
and then they kept me on hold for 15 days and finally they wanted me join on only with 15% hike since it was only for manual testing as told by HR, however they wanted me to work on automation as well . Initially HR said we can give max 30% hike when she called me for the interview.
I agreed on 15% and sent my required documents as asked by HR.
On the day I was supposed to do final HR round formalities , Talent acquisition cum HR, called and told that, they can't process my profile for joining because panel has found immediate joiner yesterday as my notice period is 30days. Which was clear to them since I first got their call and also in their call latter they have mentioned acceptable Notice period as 30 days.
My question is that why you wasting candidate time if you want immediate joiner. If they would have told me in the begining itself that they want immediate joining I would have not wasted my so much time in this interview process. And when came to salary they wanted to hire me for free.
It was worst experience as they kept me on hold to find someone else. Higher management should look into the interview process they following.
I never want to attend any interview in infinite again.
