- Applied online - Was sent invitation to schedule call with recruiter - Day of call (before call), was sent an automated rejection letter - Still met with recruiter - Interview with engineering manager who did not seem interested in speaking at all and just threw out random questions about React and then cut the interview short - Received automated rejection email again a few hours later

Screen call, then interview with the engineering manager, then a take-home assessment for system design. I was ghosted and never heard from either the internal recruiter or manager again. I spent all weekend on that design take-home and felt really good about it. They could have at least given feedback. What a joke. This company is on rocky ground anyway given the pandemic and remote situation (even their workers are all remote- for a company that rents out office space).
