      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Nov 8, 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Andover, MA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at IRS (Andover, MA) in Sep 2010

      Interview

First there is an online test taken over the internet. If you score high enough on the test you will receive a call a couple weeks later. Then you come into the service center for a TAPS test. You will be given a packet with 4 possible people who might call you. Then you get one practice phone call followed by the real graded phone call. You need to use the information in front of you to answer the 3-4 questions that you will be asked. Everyone is given the same scenario for fairness in grading but they won't tell you that until after all interviewees are finished.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions range from: When will I get my refund? When will I have to make payments? What penalties might I face?
