After applying I was briefly contacted to arrange the first phone screen with 2 HR professionals. They called me with some delay. They asked generic questions and seemed that it went well as they informed me that the next week there was going to be another round scheduled with a manager and then I can expect to meet them onsite.
Some days later I was rejected by getting a generic email. If this is something you experience with HR, then you may consider not wanting to work for such company.
Loads to do in terms of candidate experience enhancements. Also be mindful not promise something to candidates, which actually won't be happening. Unprofessional.
