The interview lasted only 10 minutes, and frankly, it felt like an insult. I had genuinely admired the brand and its vision, which made this experience even more disappointing. Investing time and energy to prepare, only to be dismissed in seconds, shows a lack of respect for candidates. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company to others seeking a thoughtful or professional hiring process.
It was thorough, I met with multiple people on the team. It was entirely virtual. The people were nice and the culture seemed good. I would trust this company. I would recommend you take the interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Herbivore Botanicals (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
Overall, the interview process and experience was very lacking in terms of professionalism as the company lacks an actual experienced Recruiter and Recruiter team doing the recruiting. Instead, they have current people in the role doing the recruiting and interviewing, which doesn't seem like a terrible idea but you can definitely tell they have no experience in recruitment and hiring.
The process was the following: Phone interview with the current CX Coordinator, take-home email assessment, and video interview with the CX lead.
