    Interview

The review process is pretty lengthy. Be prepared for a phone interview, in-person interview and working interview. None of the questions are necessarily hard, but definitely, be prepared. A lot of them were situational. Everyone was very friendly

    Interview

I had suppose to had a phone interview which the recruiter wrote me in my email. but that didn't happen. And a month later I applied again. And I got a email saying they was going to do interviews in my home town. And they wanted me to do a face to face interview. I felt like the interview went very well. I answered every question the lady had to ask me. And some of them made you pick your brain. So at the end of the interview the lady told me that. The next step are going to be a working interview and then I would move to the training process. She said after the end of the day I will get a call. Guess what that call never happen I waited 2 weeks after to contact them to see what was the hold up. I email the recruiter. She told me sorry you will not be moving on in the next process. But you do have the skills we are looking for in heartland dental for a dental assistant. So keep on applying with us and you will get something. Why even lie to me in my face to tell me the next step is the working interview and then training after and it never happen. Plus I asked the recruiter for a feedback for my interview she never wrote me back for that either. I am so over done with them.

    Interview

The place I interviewed had very rude people working in the front, I almost left because I just felt so bad about myself by the way they were treating me. But I'm so glad I didn't. Once I got to the staff they were so professional and nice and really wanted to hear the answers to the questions being asked.

I interviewed they said they loved me and they loved the graduates that came from my school. I interviewed at 2 Different Offices in Bloomington both Heartland and not one single one called me back to tell me yes or no! I even called, sent a thank you card and I still received no response! I then got an email to attend an open house type of interview and that office as well NEVER CALLED BACK, no EMAIL, NO TEXT! Completely unprofessional!

    Dental Assistant Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Staunton, VA (US)

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Heartland Dental (Staunton, VA (US)) in December 2016.

    Interview

You have to take a phone interview first in which you are screened for about 20 minutes. Once you are cleared from there you go to the face to face Interview (in my experience the interview started 20 minutes late and only lasted 10 minutes). Lastly, I came in for a working interview to which I was brought back 15 minutes late and we began a crown delivery. The actual Assistant did not allow me to sit chair side so I was forced to stand behind her and the crown actually ended up getting broken! Then I was sent home claiming they had no more patients at 2 in the afternoon! I was in with the patient a total of 15 to 20 minutes and received an email the following morning letting me know I didn't get the job! Worst interview experience I have ever personally had.
