First round was with the hr, she asked general questions about my experience
Second round was with the hiring manager- overall experience and situational questions
Case studies and sql rounds
I applied through other source. I interviewed at GitLab (Boston, MA) in Sep 2025
Interview
The recruiter initially reached out to schedule a meeting to discuss culture fit and career goals, and assured me that I could reach out to her anytime with questions and that she would respond promptly. That same day, she arranged a meeting with the hiring manager, who reviewed my resume in detail and asked thoughtful scenario-based questions. I cleared that round and was given a take-home assessment that included scenario-based questions, SQL, and Tableau. After submitting the assessment, I followed up multiple times with the recruiter to understand next steps. Unfortunately, I received no response. Even a simple “yes” or “no” would have been helpful, but the complete lack of communication after multiple attempts was very discouraging.
