I was promoted from within for this position from an Assistant Manager slot. It was more or less standard. Your sales and customer service skills play a large part in the process.

Question 1
How do you feel about angry customers? Do you like them, or dislike them?
Two interviews on zoom. One with store manager of different location, one with district manager. Was told after second interview I would have the job and would call me back with additional details. Never heard from them again.

Interview
Interview process went great, I was told to hear back on their decision within 2-3 days of my final interview. I'm assuming I didn't get it because the company ghosted me.
I submitted my resume on the company website and received a call for an interview several weeks later. I didn't know what I was being interviewed for until I got to the location, which was very unusual. The interview was very generic, with the manager reading off a predetermined set of questions the entire time.
