      Planner Interview

      Dec 7, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Veresegyház, Pest
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE (Veresegyház, Pest) in Nov 2015

      Interview

A recruiter called me for a screening. She did not keep herself for the appointment: she got into a traffic jam and did not find it important to save my number into her phone. I had to call her and reschedule the screening. Even after that, she never saved my number, whenever I called her, I had to introduce and explain myself again and again. After two weeks, I was interviewed at the plant, with the immediate supervisor and HR. They informed me this is supposed to be the last round of interview; they did call me back on the very same day to inform me that there would be another one, and I will have to go back to Veresegyház again. The interview was repeated (sometimes word-by-word) by the supervisors of the previous interviewers -- it was much less pleasant, it was harder to find the common voice and I had to give more explanations (to the same questions his colleague, who is sitting in the same office with him, understood perfectly in the first place). After that, I contacted them that I have an offer from another company and they gave me a job offer. For a job including an additional 120 minutes/day of commuting, in a much less comfortable work environment, with more work and more responsibility, they offered less than my actual salary at the time. I turned them down and took the other offer.
