      Account Executive Interview

      May 3, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Vancouver, BC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Function Point (Vancouver, BC) in Jan 2016

      Interview

I had the pleasure of meeting Function Point’s Founder/CEO and their Director of Business Development in late 2015 at Techfest Vancouver. Both individuals met me with a genuine interest in the work I had done previously, my current career goals and aspirations and an honest desire to understand who I was as a person. Prior to being offered my position as an Account Executive, I went through two formal interviews whereby I was given the opportunity to direct the interview through a presentation on myself personally and professionally. The questions that came from this allowed for natural conversation and discovery in terms of my fit with Function Point. I was made to feel comfortable from the get-go. The corporate culture of fp. was undeniable. It became increasingly clear to me that Function Point was made up of very different and unique individuals who happily come together to work on a common goal. They strive for business partnership with their clients. Function Point supports their employees and wants to grow them. I accepted my offer with fp. with extreme excitement. The work environment has honored the initial impression that I got – this team is unlike anything I have yet to experience and I feel the utmost support as I transition into my new role. My goals feel important and I look forward to achieving both personal and professional growth at Function Point.

      Account Executive Interview

      Apr 27, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Vancouver, BC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Function Point (Vancouver, BC) in Nov 2015

      Interview

The process was thorough. The company definitely doesn't jump to decisions here and is very vocal about working hard to protect their culture. I liked the fact they were equally concerned for the fit to make sense for my career and goals as well as for the business. Ultimately the questions were direct but everyone was very friendly, I was even introduced to people and pets in the office on an initial tour.

      Question 1

Asked me about how I wanted to contribute to the mission they outlined.
