Pre-Covid interview process was directly with school officials and not the district which was great as it provided insight into the culture/team for the department you’re interviewing into. Phone/ Zoom interview with hiring admin and department chair. Very straight forward and easy. No multiple rounds of interviewing with an HR screener and panel.

What does differentiation look like for every student in your class?
Meeting with principal to discuss your qualifications. In an interview, be prepared to give an example of a lesson plan, discuss classroom-appropriate behavior, or explain how you would exercise disciplinary action in an uncooperative situation.

Interview
Teachers and principal in a panel with a standard set of questions. The interview lasted for half an hour. It was an internal job transfer, so it is pretty straight forward. No need to do any background reference check and no resume needed.
