First interview was with HR, then a Finance supervisor by phone. Each was about a half hour or so. I waited in the conference room for about 20 minutes waiting for HR to come back. Then after trying to call them, I just left. I sent a follow up email afterwards though. A week later I received a call from the recruiter that they wanted me to come back in and meet the finance supervisor in person, an AP manager, and a Director. I was interviewed by the 1st 2, then waited for the director for about 45 minutes before HR finally told me they weren’t going to make it. I thought I did well with the rest though and was excited. Then I waited and waited and didn’t hear back (after following up with my recruiter multiple times) for 3 weeks to be told that they went with and “internal candidate”. Just be honest and make quicker decisions.
