I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FedEx
Interview
There's really no interview process. If you receive a call from an HR Representative, you basically have the job. They ask you questions about your age, residency status/general ability to work in the United States, willingness to take a drug test, and if you are able to lift packages up to 80 lbs. If you answer yes to all, you are invited for a tour of the facility where you would be working, giving you the opportunity to meet your manager. If you go on that tour, you have the job (assuming you passed your drug test!).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
On the tour, your manager will get to know you and feel you out by asking questions about you and your personality. This is their way of assessing where they will put you (each handler has a different task). If they think you don't seem ready for the hard work, some will try to ease you into it, but some will throw you into the busiest tasks!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Fort Worth, TX) in Aug 2020
Interview
Very thorough. We toured the whole facility when the sort started so I could see the actual work going on and went inside each type of vehicle. Signed the offer letter and then was sent for DOT physical and drug test.
